Statistics & Computational Intelligence

Statistical models are used to analyse data, in order to solve a number of very interesting real world problems, e.g. prediction of future stock market prices or weather conditions. Computational intelligence (CI) has emerged from artificial intellgence and combines elements of automated learning, adaptation and evolution to recognize patterns in data. Like statistics CI is also often applied to predict the future course of complex systems. However, these methods can also be applied for optimization problems, e.g. in control systems.

Cognidata is developing intelligent algorithms for solving hard industrial challenges such as

  • Prediction of breakdowns
  • Sales forecasting
  • Root cause analysis
  • Planning & optimization tasks
  • Video analysis
  • Autonomous systems
